In a surprise move by IBA, next round of wage revision talks were scheduled on 12.10.2018. This indeed was a unexpected move. There was a meeting scheduled on 14 10 2018 amongst the UFBU constituents to discuss the latest developments of 11th bipartite settlement in the light of introduction of Variable pay by IBA. Then why this sudden meeting?
Few of may be knowing that a court case was filed at Madurai High Court bench. It is learnt that the case was admitted now and notices were issued to IBA, Govt of India and AIBOC o submit their replies with regard to the ongoing Bipartite settlement(Eleventh to be precise). Majority officers in Canara Bank are feeling proud that one of their officer had filed a case against the IBA and UFBU for a better Bipartite Settlement.
It is learnt that a movement is going on in for the support of the case against wage negotiations by UFBU and IBA and thousands of officers had personally requested the Madurai High Court Bench to implede them personally in the writ petition.
